Short-term rental laws in Nevada

Nevada requires the Las Vegas-area jurisdictions to authorize and license STRs (with statutory minimums like a hotel setback), while other areas keep broad local control. Clark County’s scheme was preliminarily enjoined in December 2025.

Short-term rental authority is split between the state and localities.
